(FORMERLY KNOWN AS PRIMORDIAL)
So, I had the chance to check out AQUWA (not sure why all caps) Brew Works. I had gone to Primordial a number of times so I found the place easy and nothing much had changed visually. A different name in front, but same color scheme to the building and same interior. As for the beers, they came in two sizes, a 230ml for 700 and a 340ml for 1000. They had 6 taps on, but it looks like they had the capability for 8. However, with such a small operation I’d really doubt they’d have that many taps in operation except maybe for a special event. They offer take out, and were filling growlers. They also had a small fridge with some cans and bottles.
They had two “AQUWA” beers on tap, but they are actually collaboration beers with other breweries. One of which, the one they made with Grow Brew House, I’d had before at the Grow taproom in Nishi Kawaguchi without even realizing it was a collaboration brew. I guess a good point of doing their beers this way is they aren’t having the initial horrible tasting beers phase many new breweries have, as both their collab beers were pretty good.
Right now, they are only open on weekends but I hope that changes as they were carrying a number of good beers and though the price is a little high, they aren’t outlandish, so I’d like to be able to go there on a weekday in the future. The only other notable change from Primordial I noticed is they no longer have the pseudo “cafe” thing going. It’s now fully a place for beer.

Better check their social media as we’re still deep in Corona
南浦和3-3-15, Minami-ku, Saitama-shi, Saitama-ken
Update on this place. No longer open for lunch. Open from 3. Also, I think their glasses got smaller.
Thanks. Have updated the opening times. Cheers!
Just so people know, the owner of Primordial actually passed away quite suddenly a year or two back and the current owner is very much conscious of carrying on the flame. It's actually quite touching how many of the regulars see the place as a kind of memorial, thouhg it is still evolving and changing as it should. Food is good too, I like the burgers!
Thanks for the comment. I think Mothy found out after he’d written the post. I am still yet to go there. Thanks for the extra information.
