I visited Three Arrows quite a while ago, shortly after it opened, but somehow failed to write it up till now. With that in mind, it’s all a bit hazy, and I can’t vouch that everything on here will be correct, but I’ve checked as many things as possible and when I make it back there, I’ll fix any mistakes I’ve made. The closure of Beer House Ken a little while ago briefly left Fuchu with only Asaya. But now they not only have a craft beer bar, but also a craft beer brewpub. Here’s what you need to know:
- Standing bar not too far from the north exit of Fuchu station. There are a few tables to stand at whilst drinking and counters on the walls too. When I was there it felt brand spanking new and you could even notice that newly painted smell. I suspect the smell has gone now, but as it’s still pretty new, the feel is probably the same.
- 12 taps of Japanese craft beer, the majority of which are their own beers or collaboration beers they have done with other breweries. Beers served in the usual two sizes, with halves ranging from ¥700-¥1000 and US pints from ¥990-¥1600. Obviously the guests are at the higher end, but that lower end shows some pretty great value in 2026! Since I visited they have started brewing on site so I’ll have to go back soon and try some of the stuff they’ve made all by themselves.
- No cover charge, WiFi, lots of daytime opening, but beware, they close at 10 and even earlier on Sundays. Oh, and it’s cashless payments only. When I was there this didn’t include PayPay, so come prepared with some options. Will have to check if this is still the case. Also, on my visit shortly after opening it seemed that it was ok to bring your own food. On checking recent reviews it seems like they now serve some snacks.
Yeah, I know, I really should have gone back here before writing it up. Will do that and fix the errors that I have almost certainly made and maybe flesh out this entry a bit. It’s nice to have another brewery to visit out west though, and it fills in a nice little gap in what could be a decent Keio line brewpub crawl.
