Returning from the blog wilderness to post a quick piece about the imminent and expanded Keyaki beer festival in Saitama. I will direct you to most of the details on my previous posts about the festival and just tell you the specifics about this edition.
So, it’s Spring so we’re back outside again and therefore it’s a great atmosphere if the weather is good, but the toilets are a bit trickier. Don’t leave it till the last minute! The big change this time is that it is significantly expanded and will be taking place over two weekends with some breweries attending both and the others split other the two. Consequently, there seems to be a bigger range of beers available, with some interesting looking Italian and French stuff which I don’t think has appeared at previous editions. The full beer list can be found on their website here.
So, the first part starts in a few hours, so apologies for the last minute nature of this post. Season 1 runs from today (Thursday 14th May) and runs to the 17th and Season 2 is on the same days the following week, so the 21st to the 24th. The hours are the same each week, Thursdays, from 16:00 to 22:00, Fridays and Saturdays, 11:00-22:00 and Sundays 11:00-20:00.
As usual on these posts, I’ll recommend that you go as this really is a great festival. For details on how to get there, please check their website or the other posts. Maybe see you there!
